Dear all,
I am living in Germany and making shooting sport as a hobby, being memeber of German Rifle Association.
Here in Germany the weapons-related laws are more strict than in US, the types of weapons I am allowed to possess are limited. So while I am currently planning to make a road trip in US in October, I am looking of a (better outdoor) Shooting range which I could visit… Of course its need to be a range where I can rent weapons I need (looking for full automatic rifle/accaut rifle) and to be not too far from my route.
I am starting from Chicago, via Iowa (Davenport, Iowa City, Des Moines), Nebraska (Omaha, Lincoln), Colorado (Denver, Colorado Springs), NM (Albuquerque), Texas (El Paso), Arizona (Tucson, Phoenix), Nevada (Las Vegas), California (Los Angeles).
Any advice/recommendation?
Thank you
PS: there are many ranges in Las Vegas, but most are targeting (in my feeling) on never-saw-a-gun-in-real-life tourist, I visited such a couple of years ago (was Nevada or Arizona), I was not even allowed to reload a weapon, no handling except of pressing the trigger - boring
