Good News Coming in January about NC1000

That's very interesting nc1000 hasn't been around in a while I used to shoot at Camp Butner with NC 1000 and the old Hawks Ridge Club is Mr. Scott Fletcher still the president of NC1000.
Well its January and I promised news on NC1000 so here we go .
The NC1000 will be starting to take applications for membership in the next couple of weeks the new Officers are David Matthews President
Mike Wilson Vice President Secretary Steve Waldrep and Treasure Randy Taylor.
We have a little more paper work to do to get everything updated .So the club is back up and going where are we going to shoot ?
The NC1000 is very happy to announce that we will be the club behind the IBS Valley View Long Range Club in Danielsville Ga . The construction of this beautiful range will be going own through the year but our hopes are to be shooting late February Early March depending on the weather. But wait it doesn’t stop there we will also be doing the operations of a brand new range in the Tinnel Ga area don’t have a exact time on it but construction is ready to start weather permitting. Both Ranges will be IBS 1,000 and IBS 600 Yards with possibilities of growing in the future . At the same time we are openly looking and investigating opportunities NC and SC . Our goal is not to have just one range but to be able to help grow the IBS Benchrest in all disciplines .

I would Like to personally thank David Hodge
for all his help with this as well as Scott Fletcher without there desire to keep NC1000 as active as possible this would not have been possible. I personally am looking forward to this challenge ahead of us and with the strong support of Mike ,Steve and Randy I look for NC1000 to be very shooter friendly organization.

This is great news, Tennille is about 5 miles from Sandersville, Ga., About 1 hour south of Athens on Ga. Hwy.15. Will members be able to shoot at these ranges during the week? It would be nice to have 600/1000 yd ranges 15 min. from home!! Thanks to the hard work it takes to put this together. G

Once we have everything complete at the ranges we will let our members know what days and times they will be open for practice. It will be limited at both due to neither being a range that is open daily.
Stacy The NC1000 hasn’t shot at Hawks Ridge in several years . The Hawks Ridge Gun club is the club affiliated with the Hawks Ridge range. The NC1000 is a completely different club that will be holding matches at both Ga ranges as well as some others as talks continue. The dues will be set in the next couple of weeks as we finish changing and updating the paperwork .
