Good guy for stock duplication?

I am going to have a stock duplicated for my CZ 17 Remington. I have a nice piece of English walnut.

I would like to add a shadow line cheek piece before duplicating.

I'm guessing Doan Trevor would be the one? I don't need the stock finished, just modify the original and duplicate.

I've got a good deal of experience in finish work, so I'll be taking it over after the duplication.

I've used Wenig's and Show-Me. Both in Missouri. Right now I like Show-Me the best. Donny Gemmes does a good job for a decent price and so far I have no complaints on the stocks he's done for me.

I went through this not long ago and realized that just because someone can duplicate stock doesn't mean it will be done right. After a long time of stressing over it and about 4 duplicated stocks that were not right, I went to Shurley Brothers in Austin, TX and had them do it for me. They have a 3D scanner and a 4 axis mill to mill the stock. They will scan it, make any changes you want, and the stock will be straight and symmetric when they are done, something that most stock duplicators struggle with.

Looks like they do beautiful work...no doubt a scanner integrated with the CNC would be incredible.
Given their hardwood stocks run $1500., expect much more for a one-off if only due to the cost of the scan required. Those high-dolla machines gotta be paid for...
