Good gunsmith in/near South Jersey?

Hello,

I have a build in need of a good smith. Looking for 284 and 243 win chambering with heavy long f class chambering. SAAMI won’t do.

Anyone know of a good smith in or near South Jersey that has the neck/throating capability for this?

Yes, I have had a number of barrels chambered by Bob White at The Shooters Corner. All of them were excellent shooters and Bob is a really nice guy who really knows his stuff. Highly recommended.

No. David has only chambered barrels for me and a couple of my buddies. However I do know of his builds from the past that have set records. He is definitely an accomplished Gunsmith. SR, LR, XTC, FC, and PRS builds. Give him a call, it doesn't cost anything to talk. I was introduced to him for chambering a Competition Match in December of '06. I've had 3 barrels he's done and a 4th rifle in Competition Match also, I bought it from a friend that had to get out of shooting due to health issues. That rifle had only 200 rounds down it and I've shot a 2" ten shot group with it at 800 yards. 99 4x.

Yup. I have had him do a full build a .223 for me and I have at least 7 barrels now he has done both shouldered prefits and installing them on my Surgeon. He keeps dimensions when installing a barrel so you don’t have to send the action in again. He can make a barrel and send it to you. He does very good work. He has his own barrels in Osprey brand now as well as others. I have two of the Osprey in 6 Creed and both are very accurate.
