Good Day For My 6.5x47 Lapua AR-10

After struggling for a long time to find a good load for my 6.5x47 Lapua AR-10, I think I might have found it. I had finally got some Peterson brass and did a ladder test with a 142 gr SMK and Varget. I shot 3 groups, with the middle group at 35.0 grains. I was pleasantly surprised to get sub moa at 100 yards. 6 shots; avg vel-2597, ES 32, SD-8 if my math is correct. I thought it was pretty good for a gas gun. Now if I can just do that again.

Would like to hear some more details about your 47 build. Am deep into 6.5 caliber across several platforms, but no 6.5x47 AR’s as yet. Would seem a natural for the more compact Gen 2 AR10’s that are starting to show up. Nice result, BTW.

It's a Mega Arms MATEN upper & lower, Krieger M110 24in 1-8 twist, Magpul PRS stock, JP Rifles LMOS bolt carrier, JP Hi Press bolt, JP silent capture recoil spring. Triggertech Diamond AR trigger,Vortex Golden Eagle scope. A little heavy.

Really nice build and parts selection-real close to how I’d do it. Who chambered it for you? Any issues with low mass carrier or did you deal with it with heavier spring in the SCRS or adjustable gas block? Or +2 rifle gas? Ought to be a real shooter.
