Good Custom Gun Vendors?

I am looking to get a 338 Lapua and am debating between a high end non-custom such as AI, DTA or Sako vs. getting a custom gun built. The gun will be used as a long range pliker as well as a hunting gun. Do not want a heavy gun, but am willing to lug around whatever it takes to do the job.

Can anyone post contact info for good custom gun manufacturers & a ballpark on what I would have to spend? I am hoping to keep it under $4K (not including glass).
