go, no-go gauges

i need a no go gauge for a 7 rem mag, but i have a guage in 7 rem short action ultra mag. will this gague work? i though it would, but i wanted to make sure first. thanks a lot guys, brian

No. Completely different headspace gauge. The Rem Mag headspaces on the belt and the SAUM on the shoulder.

ohh, i got the 7 saum headspcae gauge from midwayusa.com. really good prices for the ptg gauges. i think there 27.99 a piece

Yep, all the belted mags use the same gage. At least all the ones with a .535" casehead. The Ultra Mag does not have a belt though Brian. Are these trick questions.

yeah. i relized that the ultra mags were just like the saums/ DUH on my part. thanks a lot guys for your help, brian
