Go/No-go Gauge ?

I would like to put my 6mmBR Norma barrel on my Savage action soon but have a question about go/no-go gauges? I found a company to rent from and they have 6mmBr Remington gauges. Will these work or not? If not, where could a guy rent some gauges to set head space?

If your changing barrels its probably not a bad idea to buy a set that you know are right. They arent very expensive and places like PT&G probably have them as a shelf item.

I will not be changing barrels so I will only need them one time. If I shoot the barrel out, I can rent them again.

If your going to rent one, you may as well just use a empty case to set the headspace..

Agree with preacher and Donovan...use a unfired case.

You can buy a go guage, shim it, then sell it here. It may be cheaper than renting one.
