We just built a new All Weather Building at our club. Heat in the winter and AC in the summer. We can shoot from 50yds out to 300yds off benchs.

That is one of the great things for me in my portion of N.E. California. I can still find places and critters to shoot, year round. Even when snow and cold are present. Life is great.

Cold is good. It cleanses the countryside, kills off nasty bugs, makes the air crisp, the sky azure blue and fools grouse into thinking its spring(photoperiod) so that you run into many more doubles and triples than in the hot weather. It comes, then goes with Spring. It's a time to revel and be glad. Oh, and its wild cranberry season also up here!

There is a AG&F outdoor pistol, rifle skeet, trap range in Mayflower then pistol ranges in Conway and Jacksonville. Would like to join a local club for IDPA and USPSA events. My wife got me a Ruger AR556 free-float and a Bushnell red dot for Yule, but I can't have it until Yule. That is just cruel but hey, I'll take it.

I got to the range yesterday morning, nice sunny day right at 20 degrees, yep just a great morning, ... NOT!

I had a great time but yes I felt cold. This being old stuff is a lot tougher than I thought it would be, where the hell did I leave my superman long johns?

YES! Mayflower is the AG&F range. I like it, nice folks there. Trap in J'ville? Where would this be?
The Shoot House is in Conway, it will do for a quick fix, and Arkansas Armory in J'ville, it is very nice.

I’m at 2900 and my range is 2000

Our range is mostly at roughly 3100 feet for the 100 and 300 yard ranges and most of the pistol bays are a little higher up, maybe 50 or 100 feet up the hill.
The 100yd range is next to the river and the river is very frozen now.
