GM Top Engine Cleaner Part # 1050002

For those of us who make cleaning cocktails using GM Top Engine Cleaner part number 1050002, this product has been replaced with a new GM product number. The new product does not come in a metal can, and is twiced the price because of a fancy plastic metering bottle. Has anybody used the new replacement product. I went to 3 GM dealers and bought up their remaining supply of the old type GM top Engine Cleaner because the end may be here for what we may have been using.

Haven't tried the new stuff but if you're willing to do some leg work the 1050002 can still be found. I located 11 cans last month after calling and visiting four GM dealers. The ammonium salts listed as an ingredient,1050002) appears to be removing some copper. I doubt I will be able to use all this so I'll have some for sale,6 or 7) at the 600 yd. match at Piedmont GC on June 9th.

Thanks, I have bought 3 cans and located several more. For the others you might get some while the getting is available.
