Glued action

I have a hall rimfire action that is glued to the stock. Is there any way to remove the glued action? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This question has been asked/answered many times, so a Google search will yield lots of info, and you can probably find YouTube videos too.

Heat or cold; one of them will do the trick. If your freezer is big enough, go the latter route. Otherwise, get out the iron (and be sure to follow recommendations that you'll find online).

Good luck.

If bedded "properly" freezing it won't work. DAMHIK. Using a conventional iron (for ironing clothes) takes a looooong time.

Machine a rod to bolt diameter, get it hot, slide into place and wait for receiver to get hot. Use the rod along with other hand on forend, pushing up the barrel w/ it's thumb… to separate the receiver & barrel from the stock.
