Glued action and barrel swapping

I have been looking at buying a used benchrest rifle with a custom action mainly because of time issues. My question is how do you swap barrels on a gun when the action is glued into the stock? All of my rifles are pillar bedded so taking a barrel off is straight forward. Can you take the barrel off with the action still in the stock?

HI, The answer is yes with the correct tools. Usually a side port action wrench and of course the barrel vice. The BR barrels are usually low torqued.

Yep, bbl vise clamped to the bench and an internal action wrench. I just made a wrench for my Vipers, I will see if I took a pic of it.
