Glue on scope mount Elsieo tube gun

Hey instead of drilling the punch holes for the scope mount has anyone ever just glued them on?

Why in the world would you want to do that? Sooner or later you'll want to take that rail off for one reason or another. I've taken mine off a couple of times and I'm thankful that it can be done without much hassle

I was really worried about screwing up mine when I drilled it for the pins. But if you take your time and follow the instructions it will be just fine.

A buddy has three and I have one, none of them are pinned. They work without them. A little loctite on the Allen heads and a quick check during PM's and everything is good to go. They stay put with Leupolds.

I see no reason whatsoever to take off the rail. I bedded both of mine with Devcon.

I chased a random vertical issue until I pinned mine. I have had no reason to take it off at this point. Unless you want a different MOA rail, or something longer/shorter, I can't think of a reason. I would even prefer it to be one piece. There are enough screws on the chassis to come lose, the scope base is one I'd rather not have to worry about.

This is what I use to bed rifle stocks as well. The smaller tube package will be enough to bed about 10 of your bases, or your base and one rifle stock.
