I don't know about anyone else, but I got my start in 'serious' reloading from his book 'Handloading for Competition: Making the Target Bigger', and benefited from some of this other books with Tubb on High Power Rifle in general, as I didn't have a lot of support/shooters local to me at the time. He will be greatly missed.

Very sad news. Glen authored some very important books on reloading, rifle building, and shooting skills. He assisted me with some projects for the site and was always a helpful resource willing to share his knowledge (and time).

Born in 1959, he was just 61 years old when he passed. That is too young.

We should all be reminded that our time on earth is limited — share the good times with friends and family and follow your dreams when you can...

Glen's books and articles are a treasure trove of amazing knowledge and information. I believe he will always be the go to guy for everything AR 15. With his advice you can get the maximum potential from that platform. He will be missed.

One of my favorite non-technical, technical writers.

I have given a number of his books to folks just starting out and some just looking for new ways of seeing things. Easy to read, easy to learn.

Such sad news to hear. His books are a wealth of information that I have recommended to anyone who had questions about AR builds and reloading.
RIP Glen!

Read a couple of his books and learned some very good info about AR-15s. RIP Glenn. U will be missed by many.

Very sad news. He will be remembered through his work of helping people shoot better. A great loss to the shooting community.

Too soon to die. Meet him at Camp Perry in the late 90's.
RIP

Truly a loss to the shooting community. I enjoyed his books and go back to them often to re-read parts. Rest in peace Glen.

Sad to hear this. One of his articles came up today in a search I did on the Daily Bulletin. I have a feeling his legacy will be long lived. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Damnit, spoiled my day.
I always enjoyed reading his stuff. His AR builders guide is always at hand in my shop.
Rest in peace.
