none that I can seeAre there any burrs or rough spots on the collar that could cause the case to be grabbed?
It is not trimming much off, approximately 5 to 7 thousand. Is that a lot to trim? Also the chamfer is very little and hardly no deburring.increase the overall length in several steps, working up to your desired trim length. once achieved you will no longer have to do this, because you, hopefully, will be prudent and keep your desired length in chec k. I hope you understand what I suggest.
respectfully,
Keith
You probably need to adjust the cutter blade to cut more chamfer and deburr. You could try finding a case, or several that are already short, or your target length, and experiment with that those to adjust the chamfer/debur process. Or trim some another way to desired length and adjust to suit.It is not trimming much off, approximately 5 to 7 thousand. Is that a lot to trim? Wow, that is a lot of trimming. I run mine on a setup like this. Its controlled by a 120v foot pedal that you can get at harbor frieght. It is not trimming much off, approximately 5 to 7 thousand. Is that a lot to trim? Also the chamfer is very little and hardly no deburring.
I do -- but I don't use the Giraud. I use the Henderson Precision Trimmer. It is a high-speed tool that does a fantastic job. it "measures off the base of the case instead of off the shoulder.Ha anyone used the tri-way trimmer (223) on 20 P or 204R brass?
