Ginex Primers

Not shooting competition or long distance precision, but have loaded about 2000 in 9 mm and .223 and for my range shooting, they worked well. Did not compare velocities, simply interchanged them with the CCIs I used before I ran out. Out of the 2000, all of them that I used went bang.

Took a quick trip to Bosnia & Herzogovina to buy 1000 Ginex 4,5/3-P3-SR primers recently. They go bang and seem to be a bit spicier than WSR's that I normally use for the 5.56 loads running H335 under 55gr FMJ's. No chrono data to prove the hunch, but I like them and they work. The ammo will be used in the next competition.

Been using them for years...first in the 50BMG at 22 cents per primer a few yrs ago...then trickle down to 9mm. Price has escalated but they always went bang.

I can only speak for the small pistol version, but no issues at all and I’ve probably loaded and shot around 10k of them over the past year.

Check out post #58. I think Jackie answers this question.
I see 11 posts. I don’t know who Jackie is but I’m missing whatever he might say.
Can’t advance beyond the 11 posts for some reason

I shot them in my 30BR yesterday at our Tomball Gun Glub VFS Match. I shot a 250, 21x. As you can see by my #4 target, when I hit the condition, the rifle did it’s part.

This was with 35.0 grns of H4198 behind my own 112 grn bullet.

As a note, when I tested them in my 6PPC a few weeks back, accuracy was great, but with the elevated pressure loads I shoot in my 6PPC, I did pierce 2 primers.

I will use them in my 30BR.

I shot some of the Ginex 4.5/3-P3 SRP today.
Average primer weight for the Ginex was 3.46 grains,
Average primer weight for the CCI450 was 3.69 grains.
Shot in a 22 Nosler @ 300 yards.
