SELLING Giles 1911

I have 2 of these pistols and am going to part with one. A few months ago, I bought a Giles from a friend with the understanding that I would not sell it. I was so taken by the craftsmanship that I bought a second Giles Pistol. I shoot neither of them.

As the title states, this is a Giles 45 acp in Bullseye configuration. I am a "1911 guy", but I know precious little about these pistols. If you are familiar with Mr Giles' work, you will know of his stellar reputation in the bullseye community.

Price is $1300 + $50 for the ride.

Will have pics up tomorrow.

I campaigned a heavy slide in the '70s. Absolutely stellar performance off a Ransom and never a ftfire, ftfeed or fteject. Far better than the $3k offerings by those w a "name".

I am more of a combat shooter, so there is no way i could run this pistol anywhere near its potential. Hope someone like you ends up owning it.

I like craftsmanship- never goes out of style. I have handled guns by Pachmayr, Clark and the Auto Shop (believe Pachmayr was involved with them). I was blown away by what those Old Masters had to do to make an accurate and reliable gun.

I lost my breathe when I was told they had to weld up and shape the factory spur-type grip safety to make a beavertail.
