I have been shooting groundhogs for a few years now using the "Hold over method " and as shots are getting out to 500 yards plus its getting harder and harder to judge hold over.I'm starting fresh this year with a new .243 and was wondering if i can go to town as is or do i need a 20 MOA scope base to get the clicks i need .I have a cooper Phoenix with a Burris Sig II mounted on a standard base.
