German SIG plant closing...

IWA is German Shot show. Every time I go there I see new evidence of decline as far as German firearms industry is concerned. On the other hand I see rapid development of Turkish industry.
In pistol matches I shoot CZ tactical sport orange and it beats sig 226 in every aspect. I see no valid reason to buy a sig. I had a p320 and sold it after one week.

Agreed on the shift from German to Turkish firearms industry.

I did a quick check on the Tactical sportOrange and sportscen's warehouse sells them for $2k. Probably can be had for little less , but I don't know that I would compare that to any sig P 226, even the legion. Both my P226 are duty guns, but I own them for the history , not the technology. .So yes , I would say your CZ is far superior. And while I don't believe the P320 is a dangerous gun, it in no way compares to your CZ. Your TSO is a great pistol.

The total lack of support I received from SIG after buying a new 1000.00 handgun that was not shootable , they can close all their factories as far as I am concerned. So after spending 200.00 to correct it, it's fine, but I will never buy another SIG product. Yes, that was 2 years ago, I am still pissed. I talked face to face to SIG rep at a show who said they were working to improve their customer service. No offer from him concerning the problem I encountered. I was refered by someone on this forum on where to go to resolve my problem. I made the phone call across the country and first words spoken by the individual who answered were, Where are you calling from I don't recognize the area code. I told him, and then he asked if I was a new Sig owner, amazing. For those who buy now, I hope they have improved there customer service, I use the term loosely.
I had the same experience with Sig.
Bought a 9mm that kept stovepiping. Any ammo. Sent it in, got it back in 2 weeks.
They replaced the recoil spring which did nothing for the issue. I called, was told to rack the slide 200 times. ???? Did no good. I called again. This time I was told that I'm using the wrong ammo. I had tried every ammo possible. They said that they had fired 20 rds with no issues.
Thay said they use Federal American Eagle and that's what I had to use.
I said I didn't want a pistol that would only run on one particular type of ammo. They said " well then sell it". I did, and will never buy anything Sig again.

I had a kitten knock a two year old pair of binoculars off the desk. They broke in half at the hinge. Sig sent a prepaid box to send them back and replaced them with a brand new pair of the latest version. Can't get much better than that.
