The Georgia State IBS 1000 Yard Benchrest Championship will be held at Cool Acres Sporting Camp in Swainsboro Ga on April 1 and 2nd .
Registration starts at 8 will begin at 9 am . This years event will be shot using single target format with shootoffs to determine IBS match winners for matches 7,8,9 and10 The State championship will utilize a 4 target agg for both Light Gun and Heavy gun shooters participating in State shoot do not have to be IBS members but must meet all IBS rules with equipment. Shooters wanting to participate in cash prize part of state match will have a 10.00 additional entry fee to be used for cash prizes at the end of the event.
Food will be available from our great friends at Real South BBQ who will also be preparing Supper for us on Saturday night BBQ Chicken half plates for $10.00. We will also have for fun a 90 ft turkey shoot so load them old turkey guns up boys and girls and we will provided the shells and have some fun Saturday evening good food ,guns , good friends and good southern hospitality this will be the shoot to be at on April 1 and 2nd . Please let me know if you are planning on coming by pm or email so I will have a Accurate head count for food. This will be the last IBS matches at Cool Acres This Year and Donna and Myself want to thank Eric and Jill for allowing us to pursue our dream of running a range even though it was just a small part we have loved it and a special thank you to everyone that has came and shot with us this year you have been fabulous to work with open minded and easy to get along with . Big Thanks to Mike Wilson for your help all year. Don't know what 2018 holds yet but we will keep everyone posted and don't forget Cool Acres has more Outlaw matches posted on web site great group to shoot with and hang out and talk as well.
