Good info, thanks, do you remember the pressure of the loads?I use Ginex in many cartridges and no issues at all. They do fit tight though. Excellent ES. Won the UBR nationals, factory class with them
I tested loads up to my safe max pressure a little over 60Kpsi and they didn't fail.Hi, thanks for your experience.
Do you remember the maximum pressure level achieved with these primers?
Dibasic powder seems harder to ignite.
I normally use Fiocchi SRM, and these also seem to fit tighter in the primer pocket than CCI450 and other american primers.
Thanks for the contribute, I suppose your match loads give more pressure...I used Ginix primers in a 7mm-08 for F-Open and my match load was single digit ES and SD.
Thanks for your detailsI tested loads up to my safe max pressure a little over 60Kpsi and they didn't fail.
I typically run the node under max which for me is 0.8 to 1 gn under pressure signs (ejector swipe, hard bolt lift, flattened primers). Thanks for the contribute, I suppose your match loads give more pressure...
No but they were all within pressure limits. During my group testing with Ginex, fed, and cci, Ginex won, beating cci BR primers by .020 and fed match by .010 as I recall. I also use them in ALL my hunting rifles and have never had a FTF. They are tighter than dicks hatband and I use a ram prime to set them. This pays off as pockets enlarge but my pockets are still tight as I dont push my brass hardGood info, thanks, do you remember the pressure of the loads?
Thanks for your reply about rws, I also have a 6,5x47 LapuaI bought a bunch of RWS SR primers 10 plus years ago. Still have about 5K of them. They have performed very well for me in BR up through X47 size cases.
Ginex have on catalog more version of small primers, one of these have 0.268" (0,68mm) cupI use Ginex primers in 223, 6.8, and 308, and they’re all I use now. My groups with the Ginex are better than CCI or Federal. They are also very affordable.
