Hello,
I just purchased a used GD-503 scale, and cannot get it to go into calibration mode. I've read the manual, watched YouTube videos, and think I'm doing everything correctly. I hold the Right side Tare button down for at least 2-seconds, and all it does is flash a diamond with a 1 or I inside it in the upper left corner real quickly. I cannot find what this indicates in the manual. Quite frankly, the manual is somewhat lacking as it covers a varying line of scales, and not the GD-503 exclusively. Nowhere can I find what the Tare button on the Left with the little "A" in the corner is for, and just playing around with it it doesn't appear to do anything more or less than what the Right Tare botton does.
It has been on for several hours now, and appears to be very stable. Comparing it to my Denver Instruments scale, there's a difference of a little less than a 1/10th of a grain.
