Up for grabs is a premium GAP rifle in 7mm Dakota, with a Bartlein 9 twist, 31 inch fluted barrel, and Templar action with a 20 moa picatinny rail. All bedded in a McMillan woodland camo stock with adjustable cheek, and Badger Ordnance bottom metal. Includes one 338 Lapua Accurate Mag. Mounted on top is a Near Alpha mount with a Bushnell 4.5-30x50 XRS Elite Tactical scope with the G2 reticle and Butler Creek flip-up caps. Rifle weighs 15 lbs as is.
This rifle was built and owned by George Gardner. I picked it up from George several years back and have put exactly 21 rounds down the barrel. It's a hammer as is expected from all GAP rifles.
Included with the rifle is a set of Redding dies, 200 new 7mm Dakota brass cases, 21 once fired cases, and 78 custom rounds loaded with 168gr VLD's. The custom loads were produced by Corbon Custom Loads for George. The label reads "George Gardner OB1", velocity 3250 fps and energy 3941 ft lbs.
This rifle has been a safe queen since I test fired, and I hate to part with it because I know how well it shoots. Asking $5800 for everything, $4800 without scope and mount. This is most definitely a long-range rig.
