From what I have seen in the past several years I wouldn't consider them as having been in the firearms and hunting equipment business.Just heard that Gander Outdoors is getting out of the firearms and hunting business and is offering 10-20% off all hunting and firearms equipment.
Seems to me that the policy toward dropping the shooting sports products started several years ago. I was going through a town with a GM and needed a small amount of a particular powder. I stopped in and went inside but there wasn't any reloading items in there. I inquired about it of a sales person and was told that the company wasn't sending them powders anymore. I don't know how the decision to drop reloading supplies from my that store came about, but it seemed odd at the time. Speaking of Camping World's policies, their sponsorship of the Nascar truck series doesn't appear to be a terrific decision either. The last time I tuned into one of those events there were so many empty seats it made me wonder how that can continue?Lemonis publicly stated that he didn't want or need our business( gun owners or conservatives). He and Camping World can pound sand
Marcus Lemonis who owns Camping World purchased Gander Mountain and Overtons a few years ago. He really never wanted the Gander part of the business and was only interested in Overtons but had to buy the Gander part to get Overtons. He is essentially dumping the Gander part and will just concentrate on the Camping World part and Overtons. Gander Outdoors will essentially just be a camper/camping and boating store.
If you must ask, it's all those damn homeless people. What is 'urban camping'?
I was curious how all those destitute, homeless "urban campers" got such nice tents. If you must ask, it's all those damn homeless people.
From what I've seen and read, in California if it's less than $950.00 you just pick it up and walk out with it, no problem.I was curious how all those destitute, homeless "urban campers" got such nice tents.
