The Gallatin Gun Club held the UBR TN State Championship yesterday (Sept 7). 31 rifles went to the line with 12 Factory Class rifles and an equal 12 Custom Class rifles. The day started with a 200 yard match, light winds and mild temps. Though the mirage was tricky, there were some excellent scores. When we moved in to 100 yards at mid day the breeze picked up and the mirage got worse. From time to time most battled that odd condition where the flags showed one direction and the sighters showed the opposite. It was far from a trigger pull.
