FYI-Local Cabela's has some Fed-SR Match Primers

FYI, Since I was in the area running some errands this morning I stopped by the local Cabalas here in Louisville KY and picked up a 1000 Federal SR Match primers, limit 1 box/brick (1000 primers) per person. The cost was $89.98 then -10% veterans discount so they were $80.00 and tax out the door. Not sure if that was a decent price, but when was the last time anything ever got cheaper.

I was in Bass Pro in Clarksville Monday, all the had were SPP, said they haven't had any rifle primers in a month or so.

RG, The store clerk at Cabalas said they received primers in sporadically, not on any specific schedule. They also did have some Federal LR match magnum primers as well.

Thanks, I now have enough to shoot about two years, but I always check. I went out Monday afternoon and checked some of the lGS's over here, they all either never sold Reloading components or quit.

The Bass Pro in Round Rock TX had a case of cci BR-4 primer - $129/brick. It's all gone but there is LPP and SPP on the shelf. I did pick up 4 #'s CFE223 a couple weeks back, 1# at a time.

Back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth, 2019-2020, primers were $35 per thousand. I would pay $89 today, only because I don't have them at all.
