Fx120i scale drift.

Scale is leveled, on a sturdy base, wind shield installed, warmed up and it’s grounded.

Next step from reading is a Ferrite Bead and or a power conditioner. I might just get both.

What Ferrite Bead do I need to get? This is all new to me.
For a power conditioner I was going to get a Tripp lite 1200LC.

It's impossible to answer without knowing the frequencies you're trying to suppress. Ferrite beads are designed to cover specific frequency ranges, so it would be guesswork. They aren't filters per se, instead they are made to be dissipative in the area of interest. You can get various shapes, but I suggest clamp-on types. They snap over your power cables. Otherwise you have to get a toroid big enough to fit over your power plug. I don't mean to dissuade you, but EMC is part of my profession and it's not easy to find a one size fits all solution.

For what it’s worth, I stuffed a dryer sheet underneath mine. It’s been completely stable for 10 days. I also followed the advice to have the powder pan removed and then turn it on. When you remove the pan it’s easily recognized if there has been drifting because there’s actually a negative number displayed instead of an “E” followed by empty space.

--When you say grounded, you've ran a ground wire from the back of the A&D 120 to a ground circuit on a house outlet? This reduced my drift greatly, got my drift. Ha!

Mine only drifts when the dehumidifier is running, otherwise it’s rock solid.
Maybe you have some nearby electronics creating “noise”.

I don’t use the draft shield but I keep it somewhat out at arm length and to the left of me. The Dandy trickier allows me to do this so my breathing isn’t a factor.
