Fx120i and auto trickler

I got a question, I’m really kicking around getting a fx120 scale and a new powder system but curious from people who actually use them. Is there any real benefit for prs shooting other than it’s faster? I don’t shoot enough centerfire matches currently to worry about rushing to have ammo ready for the next weekend. I have been using a Lyman gen 6 and a frankford intelidropper and have had good success, just curious if it’s honestly beneficial and worth the money? Thanks in advance

How fast is your present setup?
How accurate is your present setup?
What are you looking to improve?
never timed it. like i stated im not really worried about the time portion. its pretty accurate. i have gotten good numbers on it. im sure there is room for improvement as far as numbers but not sure its needed for the prs shooting im doing. for something like f class yes 100% i could see it worth upgrading

I'm not a high volume shooter but, the FX120i is one of the top 1-2 things I've
purchased in the last 10 years that I wouldn't replace with anything else.
Have never thought twice and would buy another in a heart beat if it broke.
It just plain works and it as accurate as you'd ever need. GREAT investment.
I'm cheap too.

I still use a Lyman Gen 6 to automatically dispense powder, then trickle up to final on a FX120. My experience revealed the Lyman variation is a little over the stated accuracy of +/- .1 grain. I’m glad I bought the FX120, and plan to upgrade to a V4 or Ingenuity when the Lyman stops working, but can’t say it has made a difference on target.

What are you using in combination with it for powder drop?

i have considered doing that at first myself. drop to about a grain or so light and trickle to it,

I've had an FX120i for a couple years now and super happy with it. If money isn't an issue then by all means upgrade, otherwise as I said above if it ain't broke why fix it.

I’m using my fx-120i with an old rcbs uniflow for the powder dump and trickling with a rcbs 2 powder trickler. It’s a little manual, but pretty fast really. At least I’m not having to program something electronic, and that takes some stress off by not having to troubleshoot something that needs programming.
