Today was to be my first day at the range for 2021. Way back around the first of the year and then as the day approached, I looked at my work load, appointments, the weather...I chose today as the best day and set my schedule accordingly.
I have specific loads to test in a specific rifle. Got everything ready to go. All set and looking forward to it!
But, understand, long story short my body is broken and walking anything other than a very short distance is difficult, painful, and I pay the price in the short term and long term. One of the reasons I belong to the club I do is because we have a Kawasaki Mule for the longer ranges.
So...I check my email this morning. Guess what, today they take the Mule away from the range to have it's yearly maintenance done. It'll be gone for about a week. Well that dashes my plans.
It never ceases to amaze me how many things turn out like this. I have so any conflicts. I'll have two events, both which happen only once a month or once a year, both important to me, and out of 365 days they will both happen on the same day!
Of course today's thing is inconsequential in the great scheme of things, but...dam.
