Reading the thread from the boss regarding paid memberships I've seen some ideas I thought were good and a couple I don't agree with. That's the way life is though. After sitting here contemplating my naval a bit on what I might be able to do personally, I remember one does pay a fee whenever selling something on gunbroker, or other auction sites and have done so myself. I've bought and sold a number of things here through the years and am thankful for the folks who provide this platform for to not only that; but for the information and knowledge this place provides as well.
Here's what I've decided to do. I want to do a membership drive and I have some brass to sell. If you buy a batch and don't have a silver membership here already, I'll donate $20 to the site for your silver contributor. If you already have one, I'll pay it forward by paying for a silver membership for someone who hasn't signed up on the condition that they pay for a year as well. Hopefully once signed up, contributing members will continue to do so.
Have a look in the classifieds later tonight to see if you need some. Let's see if we can get more than just a handful of contributors signed up!
