full length sizing bushing die question

recently had the bushing get to tight on my 6br die and this made the shoulder area tighter when seating a bullet, so I added some clearence (lossened the bushing) and now the whole neck is not being sized. any worrys? is there a certain spec to sizing the whole neck or 1/2 the neck?

Myself only size the neck portion ahead of the boat-tail/shank junction.

I switched from neck sizing the whole length of neck to about 2/3 of the neck length. My results are overall better.

This is all sensible since you generally don’t want the bullet engaged all the way down.
