I am having trouble with my load. I have done many loads, but on this one, i am struggling. I have a 308 win in a panda action. it has a bartlein barrel. 31 inch. it has a low boy stock.
It is top of the line, but i cannot get it to shoot. I am currently shooting about 1/2 MOA. I need this to be a 1/3 or a 1/4 MOA rifle. I am shooting the 200 grain hybrids. 43.4 grains of varget seems to be the best powder charge. they are running at 2650 fps. i am running lapua small primer brass.
I have tried variations of jumping 20 within thousands, and jamming within 20 thousands. my best load is a 15 thousand jam from lands.
My gunsmith tells me I need to jump them, but how far should I go? Any guidance? I am getting a bit frustrated to be honest.
