1. 6mm (Shilen marks them .243), S8 contour, stainless Match grade, 28", finish @ 27" or shorter, 6 groove conventional rifling, 10 twist. Shank is 1.155 dia. for 2.780", then 1.050 that tapers to 1" @ muzzle. Blank designed for the Savage, either small or large shank. and is described by Shilen as "Savage Bull barrel" contour. 2. 6mm SS1 contour, stainless Match grade, 32", finish @31 or shorter, 4 groove Ratchet rifling, 7.5 twist. Shank is 1.250 dia. for 1.935 length, then 1.120 for a straight taper to .980 @ muzzle. Described by Savage as "Savage Large Bull" contour. Wt. is 7 1/2 lb. While described as a Savage contour, it can be used for other actions, depending on dimensions of action. $325 shipped and insured.
