Front Sight Adjustable Iris Sizes ?

Long time smallbore competitor, recently took up Mid Range , Long Range and Palma,......I'm thinking of switching my my front sight from the 22mm Sinclair Ladder , to the Centra Goliath 30mm and a new adjustable iris, but wondering what size range would be best to go with for those games, any suggestions ? without being able to look right at this second I believe my 22mm has a 2.8-4.8 and that seemed to serve me well so far in my young highpower career, and I've been happy with the sight pictures, but wondering if a different range is better for what I'm shooting and those target sizes ?

What length sight radius. Will you be using a front lens, if so what diopter

On the 30 mm front sights, I have 30" bbls and use a 4-6 mm front iris. That is with a .5 diopter in front of the iris. This helps to read number boards at mid and long range.

If you contemplate using the same front sight on your smallbore rifle, then you need the iris that goes to 7.5mm. Smallbore targets have a larger black area than the HP targets.

I currently have the .t lens in mine and the 2.8 - 4.8 iris, my iris is sitting at 4.5, so when ever I buy another one, it will be the 3.8 - 5.8 iris.
