I am looking to test my new-to-me 1712, it's in the original wood stock for now with the schnabel foreend for accuracy. this will be the first rifle rest set up i've purchased and don't know where to start, but anything will be better than the plastic one piece caldwell they have at my indoor range.
I want to seriously know how to see what my rifle is capable of.
I want to try the different torque settings, and see how it likes SK Rifle Match, Eley Match black box since that is what i have on hand.
any front and rear rest suggestions?
technique suggestions?
