From M5 back to BDL

I have a stock that is inletted for a Badger M5 bottom metal. I have fell out of love with the dbm. I would like to go back to a BDL style hinged floor plate. Since the inlet is totally different, any ideas/suggestions on what i can do.

IMO, costs would say sell and buy a new stock. Probably cost 2 bills to fill and re-mill.

Yes, I'm guessing the M5 will bring a premium since they are very popular. A bdl won't be hard to find for less I'd say.

I had a feeling that would be the best course. But, part of me hoping otherwise.
