Freebore for .223 Wylde w. 75g ELD’s?

Would anyone have an opion which reamer to order for this setup. We run these with a .020 jump.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

The Wylde chamber pretty much has a fixed set of dimensions. If you want a longer throat, get a UniThroater from PTG.

If this is for a AR15, I'd just take whatever is on the shelf. The extra expense isn't worth it and you'll be adjusting seating depth in 1,000 rounds, if you are one of those competitors who even bothers with such minutiae.

If this is for a bolt action, I'd use a different chamber, like a 223 Match.

.080-.090 is what you would want. Mine is a .080 and I run them about .010 in the lands. I do crunch a little powder when seating bullets but its not much. Also these will be seated longer than any factory 700 mag box will allow so you need to make some modifications. If you are running an AR then yes go with an off the shelf reamer with shorter freebore because they wont fit in the mag if you load them long.

Bolt action. Using as a trainer for PRS positional practice. 2.455 is current COAL with a .020 jump and 75g ELD.
