Frankford Arsenal seating die

@Bill Norris and I both use one exclusively, loads everything very consistent and uniform. Highly recommend. Compared 10 loaded with the FA and 10 listed with a Wilson inline micro seater and all were the same. I still use the inline dies, just for feel on some of my stuff but mainly use the FA on my stuff I shoot around here.

I presently seat all loads from .243 to .308 with absolutely no issues.

I have one of these dies also and use it for several cartridges. Works very good. I found that I got slightly better run-out #'s by removing the small metal cylinders in each bullet guide that holds the bullet from falling through the guide. I just hold the bullet and seat like I would my Forster Ultra die. Overall great die very well priced

I've not used the FA seating dies, but, I've used the Vickerman. I believe the FA dies are an inexpensive Chinese copy of the Vickerman dies. I experience very little run-out, I use them from 17 Hornady Hornet up to 270 Win. It's my understanding that Nosler now handles the Vickerman dies. Mr. Vickerman was a gunsmith here where I live and well thought of.
