Frankford Arsenal M-PRESS

Users? Thoughts/comments/opinions/hints/tips/tricks/warnings/advice? Wondering how many folks have/use one and if they'd do it all over again and if they recommend them. Thanks for any and all input.

Not a user of one but I do own F.A. equipment. I watched the Ultimate Reloader video on it. Then looked up reviews. For me I didn't see much I liked. Could be because I'm spoiled with my Lee Classic Cast press.

There were some issues with it a few yrs back, maybe they've fixed some of them now. I watched a few reviews on them, Johnny's Reloading Bench did a 2 part one on it, one of the comments on the first one, poster referred to a vid he'd made about issues he ran into, and showed what and how to fix them, Johnny had a couple of issues too. There was a very reputable store in Nova Scotia got a batch right in the beginning, sent them all back, wouldn't say much about why, other than they had a problem with them, never brought them in again.
They are functional, have their quirks, had/have a couple of not smart designs in them. I'd recommend researching "problems with M press" and see what you see.

Is this the press that uses proprietary bushings to hold the dies? If so, dont forget to include them to the price of dies when adding a new chambering. Forster's Co-Ax has spoiled me...

It's cool looking and does seem to have some good points but the bushings are one semi issue it seems. And cost compared to other serious contenders. I believe I'm going to put it on the list of maybe eventually if I get multiple presses of various brand/type/style.

When they first came out I looked into possibility of getting one. Those proprietary die blocks were a deal breaker for me.
