Frankford Arsenal hand priming tool - primer tray location

The tray from an RCBS universal will fit.
I bought an RCBS universal tray to try and it fits and functions fine. It is tricky to get the lid on and off without flipping or dropping primers though because the retainer snaps when it's pushed into place. Also the primer gate is on the lid so you can spill primers out the chute before you get the lid on if you're not careful. I don't understand why manufactures do fix minor problems like this before an item goes into production. For some reason Frankford Arsenal has chosen not to sell replacement trays, so the RCBS will work if you want additional trays or you break the original tray.

Thanks. I just ordered one of the RCBS trays for use as a spare and will see how it works. I really like the Frankford Arsenal tool.

Midway USA did confirm after my original post that the latest model has the primer tray on the side.

The RCBS tray just arrived and does not fit. Oh well.

If anyone wants it, they can have it for the cost of mailing.
Did you order the the RCBS 90202 tray for the RCBS Universal HPT?
I don't think Midway has the correct tray. I bought mine on Amazon.
RCBS makes several hand primer tools.
