Gotta say I enjoyed that! Seems hunger and/or curiosity could get the best of some of them for sure. 
SC, that was a great demonstration of calling. I have never had a fox keep his attention that long in my life, he was a young fox, but still a really good show.
The next time you get one in fairly close, switch to a "mouse" type squeaker, for some reason switching to a mouse "high pitch" squeaker will sometimes turn a timid fox into a lunatic that will come straight for you at a dead run, unbelievable, LOLAL
