That is a drilling. A German invention I think.

Now we're talking! !
Chicago flintlock lol
Harrison Snyder has passed a fine gunsmith from Huntingdon, Pa. He told me as the war ended and being a military gunsmith went right along with the top U.S. generals into hitlers bunkers and gun factories etc. He told we when they went into the rich men's mountain hunting lodges in Germany they unlocked the gun vaults and took guns like this and lay them all out on the ground in front of the lodges. The generals picked out what they wanted to take home with them as spoils of war and tanks ran over and crushed the rest. Those guns today would be worth huge sums of money.I've always wanted to get a combination gun, but something tells me that thing is out of my price range....
My Dad was certainly no General (he was a mechanic with the 79th Inf. Div.) but he managed to abscond with a very nice old Muchler Drilling and sneak it home in his duffle bag.Harrison Snyder has passed a fine gunsmith from Huntingdon, Pa.
