Found New CZ 527 223 at a Local Gunshop

Picked up this little gem last night at a local gunshop. I asked if they had any 527s and the computer showed 1 in inventory. After a fairly long search, they finally found it. New CZ 527 M1P American 223 Rem, 1:9 twist. Comes with the flush magazine which I really like and got the extra 5 round magazine as well. Weighed 6.3lbs on my scale. I love the walnut stocks on CZ guns, but I am kind of digging this rubber armored stock. Feels really nice and light. However, if anyone has a 527 walnut stock laying around, I am interested in either purchasing or making a trade for my stock. This find makes me wonder how many of these are left laying in the back of these little gun shops.

Just for giggles, looked on Ebay for a stock you might be able to use. Here's one I'd definitely consider if I was looking. Imported from Czech Republic, walnut thumbhole stock...

Thanks for the post. I saw that stock on ebay last night. Beautiful stock, but I am not a fan of thumbholes. There has been several walnut 527 stocks that sold on ebay in last couple months, just didn't know I needed them when they sold.

$615 before tax. Not too bad. Just loaded up some blue dot "hornet" loads for it to try when the snow stops.
