Just wanted to say Thanks for all the help and information that was given on my other thread Need an Architect. A fellow member here stepped up and in his spare time is going to design my next house.
There was a lot of good suggestions from fellow members from their past experiences designing and building their own home that I am probably going to go thru myself. There were some pictures of nice members homes they built them self. So if you would like to repost or post for the first time I would like to see them. When I get mine built I will post some pics, but it probably take about 6 or 7 months till then.
I know this a shooters forum where we come for more information to be better marksman, target shooters, competitors, reloaders and machinists and hunters.
But we all have careers that each of us use the different knowledge we posess to do various jobs to keep this country moving forward. So why shouldn't we be allowed to share that knowledge with fellow members here on this site. So maybe a section for off topic questions.
I was looking for an Architect to draw some plans for me but the thread got too off topic with a lot of engineering questions and suggestions that it got deleted.
This site is where I come every day after work to chill out, learn new things and maybe even help someone with what knowledge I posess. I have made new friends here also. So I had a feeling that when I posted for an Architect that I would find what I needed, and I did.
So I just want to say Thanks for every one of you that comes here to help each other out.
