We now serve over 500,000 visitors per month between this Forum, the main AccurateShooter.com site, and the Daily Bulletin .

We have grown from a few dozen forum members to nearly 72,000. Over the past two decades, we have released over 6,000 internet articles, including the popular Cartridge Guides, some of which have been viewed over 8 million times. We release fresh Bulletin content every day of the year, delivering more stories per month than two NRA magazines combined. Please Consider Upgrading Your Membership
We hope current Forum members will consider upgrading their membership to Silver or Gold status. This will give you unlimited access to our Classifieds for 12 months. As of January 1st, non-upgraded members will be allowed only two (2) free classifieds listings every 12 months.

Members can really help the site by upgrading. Gold and Silver membership fees provide critical, vital funding for the site. Our Silver and Gold members do, indeed, help ensure this Forum's continuing operation.

In addition, upgrading effectively helps certify your status as a seller because members must show a verified CC or checking account in order to upgrade. Scammers won't do that. We strongly recommend that ALL members who use the Classifieds upgrade.

About Relative Costs -- Our Memberships Are Still a Bargain
Please consider this, if you were to sell just ONE $600 item on Gunbroker, you would have to pay $30.50 in fees. Additionally, one popular tactical forum now charges $20 PER MONTH to post Classifieds ads. Paying $30 for 12 months is a heck of a lot better than paying $20/mo. for 12 months, i.e. $240/year.

About the fees: A 12-month Silver membership has been increased from $25 to $30, while Gold has been raised from $50 to $60 for 12 months. Please note, this is our first fee increase in many years. However, Forum server, email, security, software, and licensing costs have increased substantially in the last 4 years. That's why we are raising the fees.

Lastly, I want to encourage people to support the site. I'm 68 years old now and really do need to hire skilled help for content creation, software updates, and security. I personally background check EVERY new signup, and release over 900 articles in the Daily Bulletin every year. I am still working over 3000 hours per year, despite suffering a very major injury in June requiring multiple surgeries. We do need to raise more funding to provide more staffing.

So, if you like this Forum, PLEASE HELP. $30 per year works out to just $2.50 per month -- the price of a cup of coffee.

My gold membership expired a couple days ago, got a notice and was back in action 10 minutes later. This forum is an amazing value, there’s a wealth of information here and a bunch of members who are genuinely nice people that will help you if you need it and ask.

Then we can confirm the multi-year payment, and I can manually extend the membership to two years or three years (max).

As mentioned, I'am good till the middle of THIS year but, I just added another $75 and no issues with them taking my $$$.
I did notice one other member that has $$$ issues and can't re up so, I'am working on that to make sure he "doesn't go away".

For those inclined to pay extra as a contribution, it’s probably better for the forum administrators if you just stick to the normal silver or gold registration buttons and just send extra contributions periodically using the donate button. ANY one that is here more than once a week owes it to them selves to be a member.
I see several places want $ for being able to post. This is THE best place on the net imho. I quit subscribing to any of the gun rags some time back. AS covers it and way more.

How long does it take for my membership renewal to show up?

If you paid via PayPal, it has been acting weird. I just had a conversation with forum boss about this yesterday as my company is having the same issue. As we have seen, he said that most everything works fine but with a small % of payments the notice does not get pushed to the server. I sent a PM to forum boss with my details and he had to manually update my account.

Why don't we just make it a pay site. 72000x$25=1,800,000. Even then if we lose half our membership, the boss still has $900,000 to work with. Anybody that plays this game has $25 for the wealth of info this site provides. Just my .02.

Hello,
I have suddenly started to have a problem try to sign in and send PM's.
The site keeps popping up a box say that it won't allow a PM to be sent on a "VPN, Proxy, Tor and Apple Private Relay access not allowed".
Even when I have not got it turned on at this point and yet it still is making it hard to even sign in as well whether or not I am using a VPN.
Am I on some sort of "Black List"?
This has all started a few months ago... I can respond to a PM but not generate/send one.
This includes trying to send this as a PM to you right now.
Please leave me a PM on this matter as I do seem to be able to reply to that.
If I become a paid up forum member would that help?
It won't help me if I continue to have this problem.

It would seem that if you are connected to your Wi-Fi in your house, which mine has an IP that has been flagged due to the prefix if you will disconnect from your Wi-Fi and maybe use your phone as a hotspot if you have an iPad such as me that does not have its own built-in Wi-Fi You should be able to get on that way

FORUM Boss: For Security Reasons, we now block VPN, Proxies, TOR, and Apple iCloud Relay.

Most of the members who have issues are connecting with iPads or iPhones that have the iCloud Relay activated. This masks identity and location, much like a VPN. Simply go to Settings to disable: Settings > User > iCloud Relay > OFF.
