The internet has revolutionalized the way we communicate. Every technology has it's pros and cons; the internet being no different. If you are unwilling to say to a man's face, eye to eye, what are willing to say on the internet, there's a good possibility you shouldn'y say it. That should be a rule of thumb that passes the legal 'reasonable man' test for internet posting.
Let me just make a few observations around what I consider to be mature posts and what I use as a yardstick to judge a person. There will always be disagreements and differing opinions. State your case in an intelligent fashion, argue your case in an intelligent and mature fashion. You may not agree with your opponent but when you resort to name calling and childish behaviour, in my opinion, you've just lost your credibility and your argument. Listing verifiable sources and documents go a long way in presenting your case.
Tearing down a vendor on this site because of your bad experience, is one of those examples of where people abuse the internet. Anyone can make an allegation on this site about a vendor and negatively affect that vendor's pocket. There is no way to prove your allegation is even valid but yet you can post a negative thread behind an internet alias and not even reveal your real name. You have lost nothing and yet your comments, can and, will affect someone trying to make a legtimate living. For all we know, you could be the problem, yet when you have the luxury of hiding behind the anonymity of the internet, your complaints are suspicious and we're only hearing your side. Nobody is perfect and mistakes are made. Resolve your issues on your own, with the vendor, as opposed to trying to rally a lynch mob.
We are all shooters and gun owners. The one element we can ill afford, is division in our ranks. The liberal elite want to disarm and destroy us. Let's not give them an advantage by destroying ourselves from within.
By the way, I contribute to this site because I feel it is a professionally run and well moderated site. I notice some, with very strong opinions that may fit the above criteria, don't contribute a dime. If you enjoy this site, post, and get knowledge and info., how about putting your 'skin in the game' and coughing up a donation.
