Forst Co-Ax press - out-of-stock everywhere

I am in the market for a Forster Co-Ax press. Everywhere I look, I see the press listed as "out of stock" and many time there is no predicted date when the press will be back in stock. This press has been around forever, so it is not as if the press has suddenly been discovered and Forster can't keep up with new demand. It is almost like the current B5 version has been discontinued, and it will take a while for the pipeline to refill with its replacement.

Anyone know why the current scarcity of the Forster Co-Ax?

IMO there are other presses that are Better out there. Especially for the kind of money they want for one.

If you aren't in a rush and can wait a month I have a used one in excellent shape I can sell you if we can make a deal.. make me an offer by pm... Thanks

From the Forster website:

I am an accuracy minded hunter, meaning high quality rounds, but low volume shooting. Once I find a good load for a rifle, I will load 100 rounds of it and be good for a long time. I'm not saying other presses are bad, just that I am not seeing a need for a progressive press at this time, so why not the Co-Ax?

I’ll be loading for 223, 25-06, 264 Win Mag, 26 Nosler, 7mm-08, 7mm Rem Mag, and 300WSM. Many years ago, I used an early '70's RCBS Rockchucker, and that is the limit of my reloading experience.

For those that suggest something besides the Co-Ax, what do you recommend and why?

I'm interested in what presses you recommend?

I personally like the Redding single stage presses for what the OP has stated his needs are. Also the older RCBS Rock-Chucker (pre-China) are good presses.
I’m using 3 single stage presses for all my Rifle loading. One is a RCBS BIG Ammo-Master that I have all the bushings for to accommodate 7/8, 1,
1 1/4 and 1 1/2 dies. Works for everything from 50 cal. On down.
The Redding Ultra-Mag press works well for most everything from CheyTac sized cartridges on down and an older RCBS Rock-Chucker for 20 caliber on up to mid-sized magnums. The Redding T-7 is a good press for handgun cartridges as are the Dillon progressives.

Reloading presses are like choosing pick up trucks, everyone has their
Preferences.

I believe the dies are more important than the press. Get a Wilson seater die for your calibers and all you need with the press is resizing. I had a lee classic turret and a coax and the full length sizing operation with quality dies like Redding, harrels or whidden were the same. Same consistent shoulder bump, very low runout. Classic turret can switch between dies very fast as well you just get the disks the come out of the top of it and switch beTween calibers. You can typically find a lee turret used for 100 or less.

I have an RCBS RockChucker from the 60's, a Redding Big Boss, 2 Dillon 550's, and a Forster Co-Ax. They have different end uses for me.

I use the 550's for all my handgun loading, and when I am doing multi step forming like 223-20 Practical
I use the Redding for all my full length rifle sizing needs, lots of leverage and tall opening. I also pull bullets on it when necessary.
I use the Co-Ax for any depriming I do on a press (contains all the crude), and for all my rifle bullet seating
The RockChucker sits in a box in case I want to use it in the future.

Gents
Between the Redding big boss or Rockchucker which would you all recommend for 300 Weatherby cartridges

I have the RCBS -RS also a JR both work well for 6br & 308
however with the larger cartridge I was thinking of stepping up a bit.
Thx for the input guys
