Forming 6MM Remington Br from 7MM Remington BR brass new

I found a new 200 rd lot of Remington BR brass. Everyone told me all the Norma and Lapau stories. I am not a competition shooter. Can I size this down to 6MM with a new Hornady 6MM BR set?

Is this the 308 looking BR brass, I recommend taking the brass down in multiple steps and annealing before the final sizing.

Al (op),,,the big difference is at the .200 line,,,the Remington brass is usually .003-.004" smaller,,,this allows a LOT of case head expansion and causes loose primer pokets very quikly,,,,if your dies are modern full length they will resize the brass once it swells out to fill the much larger Lapua/Norma (modern 1.570"vs 1.520" ) chamber and they will be ~.040" short in the neck,,,,if you use very mild loads you "may" get by with them,,,Good Luk,,Roger
