Forming 6mm rem

You might be better of going with either Norma or Nosler 7 x 57 brass and necking it down. It is easily formed by taking a 6mm Rem body die and running the 7 x 57 brass into it. Next you would need to run them into your 6mm Rem die and probably turn them down to what's necessary depending on the neck diameter of your chamber reamer. Depending on the diameter of the neck in your chamber, you will have to turn them down to whatever thousandths necessary to give you 4+ thousandths neck clearance. Once done, you will have very good brass..

Yep, .257 Roberts will work and will neck down in one step but has spotty availability. The +P cases also work well. The last lot of .257 Rob. brass I got from Remington was VERY consistent in dimension and weight. Though this is not guaranteed ;)... Why not Hornady 6mm rem brass @ Brownell's for $70.00/100 ???
