Forming 6mm Grendel Brass

G'day all,

Im having a switch barrel SRBR, LRBR and FO rig built. One barrel will be a 6mm Grendel. How are guys forming cases from 6.5 Grendel Lapua brass?

My thought was to use a redding 6.5 Grendel Full Length Bushing die and use bushings to bring the neck down in stages.

Other thought was to use a 6PPC Full length die and and sit that proud of the shellholder the needed amount and size the neck with that.

Any ideas gents. Im in australia.

Cheers.

I am using a .268 neck and do it they way you describe in your second sentence. I use a .280 bushing, then a .270 bushing, Edit: run them over a 6mm mandrel, trim to length, turn the necks, check the case length again, load and shoot. JME. WD
